Right before their upcoming week-long pop-up shop, ALM / Busy Circuits just dropped a brand new TZFM (Through-Zero Frequency Modulation) oscillator: the TAZM-O.
Taking full advantage of the recently popular SSI2130 chip, ALM’s newest oscillator has some thoughtful design. Let’s take a look.
Features
- stable triangle core oscillator w/ TZFM and major wave shapes
- continuous morphing of wave/pulse width shape into a main output
- morphing CV input w/ attenuator (0-5V)
- additional direct Sine, Sub-1, Sub-2, and Saw outputs
- main output has a built-in VCA w/ level control
- 3-octave range transpose CV input
- FM Mod index w/ both manual and CV control
- LFO mode w/ bipolar LED indicators
- rear customization of Sub-2 wave/pulse
