It’s taken much too long to write this sentence, but welcome to Modular Bias!
This is a site dedicated to all things Eurorack & modular synthesis. Not DAWs. Not VSTs. Not MIDI controllers. Not guitar pedals. Not studio desks or acoustic panels.
Wait, there are modular iOS apps? And drum machines? And VSTs? Ok there is some overlap, but you get the point, we like walls of blinking lights and noise-making machines.
This site started as an Instagram feed during the early days of the Coronavirus pandemic. Since then, Modular Bias has focused on the artists, communities, and manufacturers that make our community so special.
Modular is complex, but it doesn’t have to be inaccessible.
It’s rewarding. It’s melodic. It’s noisy. It’s on the beat, it’s off the beat, it’s no beat.
Our goal is to do more than just pour fuel on everyone’s GAS fire. An actual hub where knowledge, performance, hardware, and love for modular all come together.
Now go make some music, and we hope it’s Modular Biased.
